The ugliest thing in this world

There could be many reasons behind every take or every view a country makes.

- Free Tibet or not
- Boycott the Olympics or not
- Support Taiwan to get into UN or not
- Go for Iraq war or not
- Go to the Yasukuni Shrine or not
....etc

There could be thousands of reasons for each action they take.

But "World Peace", if exists at all, is always at the bottom of the list.

Politics is nothing but a lie after another, with each of them neatly packaged and justified with great terms like "Peace", "Freedom" or "Humanity".

News, no matter in which country, can only provide what the country wants you to see.
There is no way for you to know what the truth is. But maybe, truth is just what you or your country want to believe.

Say, who would ever believe in friendship between China and Japan? They have never been friends and never will be in the future.

There are nothing called "friends" or "enemies" between countries. Instead, what exist are called "benefits" and "threats".

Let's face it. What keep "world peace" are weapons and money. Peace can only exist when nations all point their guns to one another. "Friendship" maintains when money flows.

Of course, some people do mean it when they praise about freedom, love or peace. But they are not the politicians.

Sadly, this is the way how human race maintains the equilibrium. Politics must exist no matter how ugly it is. And fortunately or not, there are always some people willing to do the dirty jobs.


So this ugly thing continues, from a country to a class comittee, from a religion to a fan club.
